Our Story

We love flowers and we love people. When the two of them meet, a magic is developed that can warm hearts. The Flower Cart started after I, Tonya, signed up for a CSA weekly flower subscription. Each week I received a bouquet of the flowers that was a breathtaking delight not only to me but my whole family. I was captivated.

Fast forward to December of 2020 when Paul got me the best present he’s ever gotten me: The Floret Online Workshop. This course encouraged me to pursue growing my own beautiful flowers, showed me where to begin, and showed me what to do. Now, we have decided to turn our small 1 acre little piece of earth into a flower farm and look forward to sharing the beauty of flowers with our community.

Before our yard was a flower farm it was a just a typical mini farm for my chickens. I have always loved chickens and animals. Alongside my two loyal dogs and wonderful husband, I have consistant support and encouragement as I pursue my floral journey. They keep the yard alive and keep me awake on those early mornings.
